Discovery Club counts on donations from
individuals and businesses in the community. Private donations
are used as matching funds which are required to obtain state
grants.
You can make a donation specifically to be used for the
benefit of Discovery Club to Haverhill’s official local
education foundation, the Haverhill Foundation for Excellence in
Education.
The Haverhill Foundation for Excellence in Education
(HFEE) is approved by the Internal Revenue Service to receive
tax deductible contributions.
HFEE has used funding from private and
state sources to pay for:
- Fitness and Nutrition Activities
- Summer Programming
- The Mural Project
- Licensing, training, and
equipment for the climbing wall and Adventure Course at
Nettle Middle School
